A KING FOR KINGS

From The Nuevo Inca Collection

There is a lot of avian influence in the ancient Mohican cultures. Almost every bird has a special and unique significance to what it represents in design. Then there is the King Vulture – The carrier of souls from this realm to other. One that is the messenger between the living and the dead.

This was an exclusively royal mark, one to be found on treasure troves, sacrificed with the royal, to help them easy passage in the nether realm. The abstraction of this design makes us sit up & look in to it, for days.
